Job Summary
Provide logistical support for the Respiratory Care Department and perform independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including clinical evaluation of care with objective against patient age and needs. Requires a valid Respiratory Therapist license and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, plus BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and experience in a clinical setting (preferably in outpatient testing). The role supports the department's operations and delivers respiratory care aligned with therapeutic objectives for diverse patients.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient testing
