Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Applicant opening administers floor and critical care therapy modalities, performs arterial puncture and blood gas analysis, responds to cardiopulmonary arrests, maintains and processes equipment, and ensures safe oxygen administrations via the Oxygen Therapist Driven Protocol. Monitors non-invasive SpO2 via pulse oximetry during overnight studies, exercise, continuous and spot checks. Requires an Associate Degree and NBRC-CRT or RRT/RCP certification to be obtained within specified timelines; CPR/BLS within 30 days; no travel required. Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree
- (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
