Job Summary
Perform pulmonary assessments, testing techniques, treatment, management, control, and care for infants, pediatrics, and young adults with cardiorespiratory system deficiencies. Assess and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies daily while providing consultation to staff on client care. Evaluate, modify, and coordinate respiratory treatment plans; evaluate equipment settings, make adjustments, and recommend changes as needed. Complete diagnostic respiratory testing for clients at the Anne Carlsen Center. Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to meet respiratory and overall needs of individuals served.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
- Possess a current, unencumbered license from the State of North Dakota, as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- One year of respiratory therapy experience
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications
- Three years Respiratory Therapy Experience
- Experiences with respiratory equipment such as CPT, suction, pulse oximeters, ventilators, HFNC, heated/cool mists, cough assist, CPAP/Bilevel Oxygen analyzers, End tidal CO2 monitors, Bernoulli alarm system, concentrators, and nebulizers
- Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
