Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist – Ventilator Support: Field Clinician delivering specialized respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in home and alternate care settings, including clinical assessments, patient/caregiver education, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians and referral sources. Responsibilities include managing ventilator equipment and supplies, documenting patient care activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and HIPAA adherence, participating in on-call rotation, and promoting program development and engagement with referral sources. Requires license in all serviced states, CPR, an AMA-approved associate degree in respiratory therapy, and hands-on ventilator experience; work location is Salem, OR, full-time with standard weekday schedule and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in all states serviced by the branch
- CPR certification
- Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program
- One (1) year of clinical experience as a Nurse with ventilator exposure, Healthcare Respiratory Therapist or HME Respiratory Therapist
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
