Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist providing respiratory patient care to Vent patients, including ventilator setup and management, discharge planning, and education for patients and caregivers. Responsibilities include reviewing plans of treatment, documenting procedures and patient responses, coordinating with physicians and referrals, on-call duties, PPE and infection control, HIPAA compliance, and ongoing clinical education to ensure optimal outcomes and smooth transitions to the home setting.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from an AMA approved respiratory program
- Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch
- CPR certified
- One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT or clinical nursing with Vent experience
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
