Respiratory Therapist (.6 FTE/Alternating Shifts)

Oversee diagnosis, treatment, and care management of patients with pulmonary disorders by administering high frequency jet ventilation, inhaled medications, and conducting special procedures including EKGs, arterial blood gas tests, and pulmonary function tests. Set up and operate mechanical ventilators using invasive or non-invasive procedures while ensuring proper equipment utilization. Educate patients and caregivers on disease management techniques and evaluate response to therapy to adjust treatment plans. Requires Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, BLS, ACLS, and state licensing. This role involves alternating shifts at Franciscan Health Crown Point in Crown Point, Indiana.
