Respiratory Therapist (46399)

Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilatory support in urgent care, ED, inpatient and outpatient settings. Duties include administering gases, aerosols, and humidity; performing pressure breathing and chest physical therapy; assisting CPR and monitoring pulmonary/cardiovascular function; collecting blood gases and arterial samples; operating and training others on respiratory equipment; performing pulmonary function testing; documenting services and maintaining supplies; and adhering to confidentiality and HR policies. Requires an Associate degree in respiratory therapy, NBRC CRT certification (RRT preferred), active U.S. state license, and ACLS (to be completed by time of hire); Navajo language skills preferred. Preference given to qualified Navajo applicants. Must be able to work in office/inpatient/outpatient settings with flexibility for on-call or variable shifts.
