Job Summary
Overnight Respiratory Therapist providing comprehensive respiratory care including arterial blood gas analysis, patient assessments, and ventilator management, along with aerosol and oxygen therapies, bronchial hygiene, chest physical therapy, MDI/IPPB/Nebulizer treatments, ABG analysis, and documentation in EMR. Responsible for ensuring therapies follow Therapist Driven Protocols, ongoing patient/family education, and coordination with physicians. Performs and documents care across neonatal/pediatric and adult patient populations, participates in code/trauma responses, and contributes to shift workload distribution and equipment management. Requires NH licensure as an RCP, NBRC certification, BLS, and collaborative team participation; 36-hour overnight schedule with full-time expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Current NH license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
- NBRC certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in respiratory therapy modalities listed
- Ability to work overnight shifts and 36 hours per week
- Ability to function in a team environment
