Provides respiratory care to patients as ordered by physicians, and according to established standards and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of the cardiopulmonary system to deliver clinical care, follows written and oral communication, and adheres to safety, isolation, and regulatory procedures. Delivers age-specific therapy, educates patients and families, and participates in performance improvement to improve patient outcomes. Collaborates with colleagues and demonstrates effective communication, empathy, and professionalism while maintaining quality and safety in the Respiratory Care Department.
