Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP II) delivers respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostics in an acute care setting, including management of ventilators and high-flow oxygen systems, ABG and PFT performance, and care plan implementation. Responsibilities include documenting care in the EMR, responding to code blue and rapid response events, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and may serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts. Eligible candidates may relocate to the Illinois area; position offers a sign-on bonus and competitive pay with shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from NBRC
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- NRP certificate preferred
