Job Summary
Under the direction of the Respiratory Manager, perform various therapy modalities to patients as ordered by physicians. Manage ventilators and diagnostic monitoring devices, while maintaining appropriate clinical and clerical patient records. Conduct patient assessments and provide education, plus participate in staff education and supervision as needed. Supervise equipment and departmental supply maintenance, completing other duties assigned by the Respiratory Manager. Requires a California Respiratory Care Board license, CRT certification, and current BLS/ACLS credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy
- Licensed by the Respiratory Care Board in the State of California
- CRT
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
