Job Summary
Develop and execute the sales plan for the Ventilation and Pulmonary Function portfolios to achieve territory targets. Serve as the primary contact with customers, providing support for clinical applications and building a multi-year capital pipeline. Lead the capital sales process by collaborating with Territory Associates, positioning capital lines, and directing RFP opportunities. Maintain a current customer account database and utilize CRM tools while providing monthly forecasts on all capital opportunities. Ensure regular communication with the Regional Manager and Marketing Manager regarding service quality, product issues, and competitive data. Maintain the regional capital pipeline and provide monthly forecasts on all capital opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary degree in Business, Medical Sciences, or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of previous work experience in hospital medical device sales
- Experience with National GPOs and Provincial SSOs
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work projects
- A full class driver's license
- At least three (3) years' driving experience
- Ongoing satisfactory driver's abstract
- A clear vulnerable sector/ criminal background check, appropriate for working in the hospital environment
- Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours
- Additional working hours as required to meet ongoing business demands and to fulfill job responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- A medical clinical designation (ie. Respiratory Therapist, Nurse, etc.) is an asset
- Bilingual in French, both written and oral is an asset
Additional Requirements
- A full class driver’s license, and at least three (3) years’ driving experience with an ongoing satisfactory driver’s abstract is required.
- A clear vulnerable sector/criminal background check, appropriate for working in the hospital environment.
