Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope respiratory therapy practice in a direct patient care environment, managing ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management across multiple levels of care. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care outcomes while prioritizing patient wellness and evidence-based protocols. Precept new healthcare staff and contribute to clinical and process improvement projects at the unit, division, or system level. Maintain current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications within required timelines. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- State licensure if required by law
- PALS within 30 days
- ACLS within 1 year
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
