Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care, including various imaging and radiologic procedures, while managing ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management in a technologically complex setting. Precept new staff on imaging and clinical practices to model proficiency within a multidisciplinary team. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care while engaging in clinical and process improvement projects. Requires an accredited Respiratory Therapy graduate with one year of experience, RRT certification, and current ACLS and BLS credentials. Full-time, 72-hour day shift with 13-week assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- One year of experience
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
