Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope respiratory therapy in a direct patient care environment, managing ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management across multiple levels of care. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care outcomes while prioritizing patient wellness and evidence-based practice. Precept new healthcare staff and contribute to safety and quality initiatives at the point of care. Practice within a technologically complex clinical setting that encourages participation in clinical and process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- State licensure if required by law
- PALS & ACLS within 1 year of hire
- NRP within 6 mos of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
