Job Summary
Manage ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management in a technologically complex clinical setting. Provide top-of-scope direct patient care utilizing respiratory therapy protocols and best practices to promote optimized care outcomes. Partner with a multidisciplinary team while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a fast-paced, innovative environment. This onsite role at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital requires an RRT with state licensure and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- State licensure
- ACLS, NRP, PALS within 6 months
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
