Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy per physician orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff. Provide comprehensive respiratory support using appropriate devices while maintaining current RCP licensure and NBRC RRT or CRT credentials. Available for flexible day or night shifts in 4, 8, or 12-hour blocks with variable shift incentives, with no weekend or holiday requirements. Preferred critical care experience and ER PALS certification for emergency room assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS certification (for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room)
