Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders, consult on therapy effectiveness, and act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing. Deliver compassionate care while utilizing appropriate respiratory devices to support healing. This gig position offers $35/hr for RRT or $30/hr for CRT plus variable shift incentives. Flexible day or night shifts are available in 4, 8, or 12-hour blocks with no weekend or holiday requirements. Candidates must hold an RCP license and NBRC certification (RRT or CRT), with PALS required for ER roles. Preferred critical care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS certification (for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room)
