Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource person for medical staff. Operate all appropriate respiratory care devices, with PALS certification required for Emergency Room shifts. Select flexible day or night shifts in 4, 8, or 12-hour blocks, with no weekend or holiday requirements. Earn a base rate of $35/hour for RRT or $30/hour for CRT plus variable shift incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required
