Job Summary
Assess patients for treatment frequency and develop care plans based on diagnosis. Administer prescribed respiratory services, monitor patient conditions, and communicate updates to the team. Perform advanced respiratory modalities, evaluate practice outcomes, and educate families on health conditions and support resources. Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and sterilization while maintaining inventory levels. Respond to medical emergencies and rapid responses in a constant state of alertness. Work night shifts (Friday through Sunday) for 36 hours weekly. A sign-on bonus may be available with a two-year service commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a Respiratory Therapy or equivalent years of experience and education
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner, Registered - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Respiratory Educ Permit - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Respiratory Care Practitioner - Oklahoma Medical Board
- Provisional Respiratory Care Therapist - Oklahoma Medical Board
- Letter of Acknowledgement of Receipt of Application for Respiratory Care Practitioner - Oklahoma Medical Board
- Respiratory Care Practitioner - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
