Job Summary
Provide respiratory care to patients in a Spokane-area hospital; set up and operate ventilators and oxygen delivery systems; administer respiratory therapies including aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy; perform arterial blood gas sampling/analysis; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team; maintain accurate patient records and respond to emergencies (e.g., code blue). Must hold Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner license and BLS; new graduates may be considered. Strong communication, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
- Experience preferred but not required; new graduates may be considered
- Proficiency in respiratory therapy equipment, ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, and oxygen therapy
