Job Summary
Perform Respiratory Therapy modalities and execute technical procedures on complex life support systems while making on-the-spot decisions affecting patient care across neonatal to geriatric settings. Ensure all prescribed therapy is delivered with quality standards. Maintain current valid license from the Respiratory Care Examining Committee and active Basic Life Support certification. Work part-time nights shifts, 32 weekly hours, rotating every other weekend. Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma
- Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner certification
- BLS-Basic Life Support certification
- Active membership in the A.A.RC. (American Association for Respiratory Care)
- Active membership in the C.S.R.C. (California Society for Respiratory Care)
- Valid license from Respiratory Care Examining Committee
- Valid license from Respiratory Care Board
- Certificate of Completion from accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Valid work permit
- Equivalent experience in lieu of the required degree or diploma
- One or more years experience in the practical application of Respiratory Therapy under medical supervision
- Experience in the practical application of Respiratory Therapy procedures under medical direction
- Demonstration of proficiency during clinical rotation in accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
- Every other Weekend
