Job Summary

Assess patients for treatment frequency and develop care plans based on diagnosis. Administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services and perform advanced modalities while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and community resources. Respond to medical emergencies and rapid response events while maintaining constant alertness. Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and sterilization procedures, and manage departmental inventory levels. This role involves full-time day shift work with rotating weekend coverage and holiday rotation. Candidates must hold an RRT license in Missouri and possess a BLS HCP certification.

Required Qualifications

  • CRT or RRT
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care
  • Equivalent years of experience and education
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Licensed in MO

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Occasional driving
  • Rare crawling and running
