Job Summary
Perform ABG punctures, administer prescribed pharmacological solutions, and monitor patient vital signs including breath sounds and ventilator status. Set ventilator parameters per protocol, place E.T. tubes safely, and educate patients on therapy and medications prior to discharge. Complete billing paperwork, document assessments and EMR entries, and maintain respiratory equipment through assembly, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Report safety incidents via the Midas/RDE tool and adhere to all regulatory standards and mandatory training modules. Requires an AMA Respiratory Therapy Associate's degree, Arizona Board licensure, and NBRC RRT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program
- Licensed by the Arizona Board of Respiratory Care Examiners
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Must be able to physically show up
