Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT- Full Time Night

Job Summary
Provide respiratory care including oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support to patients from neonatal to geriatric. Perform ABG analysis and reporting, arterial blood gases and EKGs, manage ventilation and airway changes per physician orders, and deliver therapy per established policies. Role requires current state license, NBRC-credentialed RRT, and proficiency with data entry and Windows software. Night shift 6:30pm–7am with rotating weekends; facility: St. Bernard Parish Hospital. Preferred Bachelor's degree; must be able to travel between facilities and maintain compliance with applicable laws and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Proficiency with Windows-style applications and data entry
- Ability to perform routine and advanced respiratory procedures per policy
- Ability to document clinical information accurately
- Knowledge of federal/state/local laws and accreditation standards related to the role
- Ability to travel between facilities and work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required
- Strong safety and ethics compliance
