Job Summary
Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies, managing ventilators, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and establishing therapy objectives. Operate independently under limited supervision while collaborating with patient care staff, physicians, and outside providers. Requires an RRT credential, RCP license, and advanced cardiac life support certification within 90 days. Minimum one year of acute care respiratory therapy experience preferred. FTE 0.88, days shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program
- Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington Registry eligibility notice to sit for RRT exam from NBRC
- Advanced cardiac life support credential
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS
- CRT
