Job Summary
Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients while maintaining all equipment in working order. Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required. Maintain BLS and ACLS certification and state-specific licensure to practice respiratory care. Minimum one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred. Join a collaborative post-acute team across 80 locations dedicated to compassionate care for chronically and critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
- Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
- Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada
- For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required
Desired Qualifications
- preferably an associate degree
- Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred
