Respiratory Care Practitioner (NRP)

Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) provides routine and advanced respiratory care procedures including administration and monitoring of medications and therapies, ventilator support, bronchoscopy assistance, spirometry, and gas therapy. May perform diagnostic testing of cardiac/respiratory systems and contributes to patient care as part of the direct care team. Responsibilities include delivering safe, high-quality respiratory services aligned with regulatory standards, documenting care and charges, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. Requires licensure, RRT credential, and applicable life support certifications; on-call and night shift responsibilities are indicated.
