Job Summary
Perform respiratory therapy, ventilator management, EKGs, and serve on the code team for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Conduct exercise stress testing and pulmonary function testing per physician orders while maintaining accurate documentation for billing and patient records. Communicate with peers, supervisors, physicians, and patients across all age groups, ensuring confidentiality and a safe clinic environment. Maintain equipment, complete annual safety training, and participate in internal and external education to advance clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from a program accredited by the Committee On Accreditation for Respiratory Care (COARC) or accredited by the American Medical Association's Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA)
- Current state Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCPRT) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Desired Qualifications
- One-year experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
