Job Summary
Part-time Respiratory Care Practitioner Intern at Erie County Medical Center performing respiratory care services under the direct supervision of a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner. Responsibilities include disassembling, cleaning, disinfecting and reassembling equipment, stocking and maintaining respiratory supplies, attending interdisciplinary rounds in critical care units, and communicating with co-workers and physicians/nurses to support quality patient care. Must be enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program with at least two semesters completed; on-site position in Buffalo, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be enrolled in a regionally accredited or New York State registered school in Respiratory Therapy or closely related field, of which included completion of two (2) semesters.
