Job Summary
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) provides, under medical direction, respiratory care services to patients with disorders of the cardiopulmonary system. Per physician prescription, the RCP performs diagnostic testing, therapeutic and respiratory monitoring services. Requires graduation from an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program and California licensure; BLS and NRP required at hire with IAM training within 30 days. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred in an acute care facility. Night shift, part-time (36 hours/week) at MarinHealth Medical Center in Greenbrae, CA. Responsibilities include airway management, emergency airway procedures, and administration of respiratory medications via aerosolization. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program approved by AMA Council on Medical Education and able to qualify for California licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- California State Respiratory Care Examining Committee licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
- Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) within 30 days of hire
