Job Summary
Provides evaluation of and care for respiratory therapy patients; administers prescribed respiratory therapeutic services; assesses patient for type and frequency of treatment; develops a plan of care; implements and monitors patient care plans and equipment; performs advanced respiratory care modalities; educates patients and families about health conditions and community resources; assists with equipment calibration and maintenance; participates in inventory and sterilization procedures; responds to medical emergencies; rotates night shifts with 12-hour blocks; requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent, BLS HCP, NBRC-RRT, and Missouri licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent years of experience and education
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NBRC
- Respiratory Care Practitioner - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
