Job Summary
Respiratory Care Practitioner performs adult/pediatric respiratory therapies, collaborates with physicians and nurses to plan and implement patient care, operates and maintains complex ventilatory support systems and related devices, conducts patient assessments, and participates in department and unit orientation. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with respiratory therapy delivery, handling respiratory care procedures and diagnostic activities, and providing patient care within the Respiratory Therapy Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA. Requires Washington licensure upon hire and BLS certification; role may involve cross-department collaboration and support within an in-hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
