Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to plan and implement individualized patient care plans for respiratory therapy treatments. Administer respiratory interventions in accordance with physician orders while operating and maintaining ventilatory support systems, monitoring equipment, and resuscitation devices. Perform patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, oxygen therapy, and monitor patient responses to communicate updates to the care team. Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and complete department orientation programs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
