Assess patient needs for respiratory therapy through interviews, physical exams, and clinical data review to develop care plans. Initiate, conduct, and evaluate therapeutic interventions while performing cardiopulmonary and neurodiagnostic procedures with quality control. Independently provide critical care including invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, airway management, and resuscitation for adult and pediatric patients. Assist in discharge planning, perform ABG draws, and educate patients on disease management and equipment use. Operate, maintain, and disinfect respiratory equipment while managing inventory levels. Respond to Code Blue, Rapid Response, and Trauma alerts as an integral member of the free-standing ED team. Maintain accurate documentation, billing, and patient tracking while participating in quality committees and tumor boards.
