Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders through thorough assessments and individualized care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians while monitoring and interpreting patient data to take appropriate action. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records. Requires a California Respiratory Care Practitioner License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, along with acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited College in the field of Respiratory Therapy
- Training specific to area of assignment
- California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Experience in an acute (routine and critical) respiratory care setting
