Job Summary
Provide clinical care for patients with severe respiratory conditions in general, emergency, and diagnostic areas at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Create care plans, evaluate goals, and maintain communication with the health care team. Deliver clinical instruction to nursing and medical students, as well as orient new staff to strengthen the team. Maintain current credentials as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist and participate in continuing education. This full-time night shift role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Maintain credential as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current BLS
- Licensed to render respiratory care services by the respective state(s) of practice – Ohio and/or Michigan
- Stay current in the practice of Respiratory Care by actively participating in continuing education and maintaining certifications and annual competencies
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- PALS certification
- Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care ProMedica
