Job Summary
Administer therapeutic gases, manage mechanical ventilation, and perform advanced procedures including intubation and arterial line insertions. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, adjust therapy based on clinical response, and respond to rapid response and code events across ICU, NICU, PICU, and inpatient units. Collaborate with pulmonologists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes while documenting all care accurately. Full-time role with day or night shift availability, including weekend commitment for night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
- Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
