Job Summary
Lead daily operations of respiratory care services, including staffing, quality, and performance management; drive program development, quality improvement initiatives, and operational efficiency; partner with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care delivery; develop, mentor, and engage a high-performing team while supporting workforce growth and retention; oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource management; this highly visible leadership role within UW Health includes a hybrid schedule with flexibility to support off-shift teams and shared on-call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration or Business Administration Required
- Master's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Care Administration or Business Administration Preferred
- 6 years relevant health care experience Required
- Licenses & Certifications: Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialed by the NBRC Upon Hire Required
- Current BLS/CPR certification Upon Hire Required
