Job Summary
Conduct all clinical aspects of respiratory care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients, including alveolar recruitment therapy, lung expansion therapy, aerosolized medication delivery, and ventilator management. Perform arterial blood gas analysis, assist with bronchoscopy, and manage non-invasive ventilation while adhering to infection control procedures. Execute BLS and ACLS protocols to ensure patient safety across the system's 14 medical centers and 120 outpatient facilities. Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist license, Ohio licensure, and one year of practice experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio
- BLS
- ACLS
- Graduate of Associate degree or higher accredited Respiratory Care program
- Must possess quality assessment skills and independent critical thinking, utilizing therapist driven protocols to drive appropriate patient care
Desired Qualifications
- One year practice as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred
