Job Summary
Conduct all clinical aspects of respiratory care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients, including alveolar recruitment therapy, lung expansion, aerosolized medication delivery, and ventilator management. Perform arterial blood gas analysis, assist with bronchoscopy, and manage non-invasive ventilation while adhering to strict infection control procedures. Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist license from Ohio, BLS/ACLS certification, and an accredited associate degree or higher. One year of practice experience is preferred. Kettering Health serves southwest Ohio with a mission to promote and restore health through integrated healthcare expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio
- BLS
- ACLS
- Graduate of Associate degree or higher accredited Respiratory Care program
- Must possess quality assessment skills and independent critical thinking, utilizing therapist driven protocols to drive appropriate patient care
- One year practice as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred
