Job Summary
Assess patients with cardio-respiratory deficiencies, develop respiratory plans of care, and administer prescribed treatments and medications. Demonstrate competency in invasive and non-invasive ventilator care and Blood Gas Laboratory procedures while setting up, operating, and maintaining medical gas and airway humidification systems. Teach patients and families regarding disease processes, treatments, and wellness. Document patient care activities using computer information management systems. Adapt to variable workload distribution and daily service demand conditions. Night shift, 12-hour part-time role at Virtua Health in Mount Holly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved program of study in Respiratory Care with an Associate's Degree
- Registered or Registry Eligible as a Respiratory Therapist as determined by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- BLS credential
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care
- Night Shift - 12 Hr
