Job Summary
Assist in the prevention, diagnosis, and therapeutic treatment of respiratory disorders by administering medical gases, oxygen therapy, ventilation therapy, and artificial airway care under physician direction. Provide safe aerosolized medications, perform bronchial hygiene therapy, and manage patient charges in the MIS system. Clean and prepare respiratory equipment while monitoring ventilator systems. Maintain current BLS or CPR certification and enroll in an AMA-approved Respiratory Care school within three months of hire. This entry-level role supports respiratory rehabilitation procedures and requires experience working with patients in clinical situations.
Required Qualifications
- High School plus specialized training (6 mons-2 yrs)
- Entry Level
- Must be formally enrolled in an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care within three (3) months of hire
- States Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to read, write, hear, speak, and comprehend the English language
- Experience working with patients in a clinical situation
