Job Summary

Oversee the allocation of Client Service Staff to align with firm strategic priorities, business metrics, and new joiner/leaver reallocations. Utilize continuous planning and scheduling to meet utilization targets, focusing on staff leverage and peak season performance. Gather staff career goals and strengths to match resources with client engagements, while analyzing productivity reports to develop actionable workload balancing and utilization improvement plans. Coach RM specialists on strategic resourcing processes and collaborate with RM professionals to share best practices, facilitate staff borrowing, and implement technology enhancements like Teambuilder. Review monthly financial results to recommend operational solutions regarding utilization, chargeable hours, and headcount adjustments, ensuring adherence to resource management procedures and process standardization.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in and understanding of Resource Management, including forecasting, strategic planning, and how these elements connect to overarching business strategy
  • Proficiency in data analysis and storytelling through data; with the capability of interpreting findings to provide actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and exercise excellent judgment without oversight
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a clear understanding of the business impacts of resourcing decisions
  • Aptitude for addressing and de-escalating client concerns independently, maintaining professionalism in all interactions
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and complex projects, think strategically, and demonstrate agility under tight deadlines
  • Experienced in setting priorities, meeting, and exceeding deadlines while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Proven track record of effective change management execution and the ability to deal confidently with partners and staff at all levels
  • Development expertise in RM technology, particularly Teambuilder, to support assignment planning, allocations, forecasting, and reporting
