Job Summary
Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers while providing flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent educational experience. Organize engaging classroom materials and learning centers, then supervise and engage with children indoors and outdoors to ensure their safety, well-being, and social development. Offer personalized attention to foster an inclusive environment, maintain clean classrooms adhering to health and safety regulations, and assist with daily care routines. Collaborate transparently with families about children's progress and achievements. No nights, weekend, or holiday schedules; competitive salary and health insurance included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Pass required state background checks
