Job Summary
Resource Teacher collaborates with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs and activities, providing flexible classroom support, organizing and preparing materials and learning centers, supervising children indoors and outdoors, fostering an inclusive environment, and communicating transparently with families about children’s progress. The role supports classroom needs, enhances curriculum delivery, adheres to health, safety and licensing regulations, and contributes to a nurturing learning environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
