Job Summary
Enhance lesson plans and activities by collaborating with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs. Provide flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent learning experience while organizing materials and learning centers. Supervise children indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety and social development through personalized attention. Maintain clean classrooms adhering to health and safety regulations and assist with daily care routines. Communicate transparently with families regarding children's progress. Work full-time with no nights, weekends, or holidays, offering childcare discounts and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Pass required state background checks
- Meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
