Job Summary
Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers while providing flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent educational experience. Organize engaging classroom materials, supervise children indoors and outdoors for safety and social development, and maintain clean environments adhering to health and licensing regulations. Offer personalized attention to foster an inclusive atmosphere and assist with daily care routines. Communicate transparently with families about children's progress and achievements. This role supports the Goddard School's mission to put teachers and students first in Morrisville, NC, offering a nurturing environment for young learners.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Pass required state background checks
