Job Summary
Resource Teacher for K-8 at St. Joseph Catholic School in the Diocese of Orlando. Responsibilities include coordinating standardized testing and tutor volunteers, coordinating public school consulting and service plan meetings, consulting with classroom teachers on strategies for students with special needs and gifted students, interviewing and screening prospective students, monitoring progress of students with special needs, developing programs and schedules, providing pull-out or small-group instruction, supervising enrichment programs for Intermediate/Middle School and Elementary levels, and delivering staff development and parent resources. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with Certification in Exceptional Student Education (or certification within 1 year of hire) and at least three years of educational experience; must meet Faith Fit requirements. Physical duties include assisting with activities and mobility as needed. This role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to support students with diverse learning needs in a Catholic educational setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with Certification in Exceptional Student Education (or obtain certification within 1 year of hiring)
