Resource Teacher - St. Joseph Regional Catholic School - Beltsville Maryland

Plan and deliver instruction to individual students and small groups in academic, social, communication, and independent living skills. Modify and scaffold materials from general education classes, assist students in completing work outside the classroom, and provide direct support during general education classes. Proctor tests and supervise activities during Academic Resource Time, including performing arts, extracurricular activities, campus ministry, and school traditions. Communicate with parents via writing, telephone, and in person while maintaining effective relationships with faculty and staff. Manage an online grade book, organize assignments, and enter grades timely. Attend required school events including Back-to-School Night, parent conferences, Open House, Baccalaureate Mass, Graduation, and faculty retreats. This full-time role reports to the Principal at St. Joseph Regional Catholic School, a Blue Ribbon institution founded in 1963.
